Michael S. Ramage, J.D., Certified Genealogist (sm) has published an article that is a must-read for those considering heir searching or already engaged in the service. Michael’s article begins, “…Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, filed a 72-page Petition for Discipline against state Senator Jeffery E. Piccola, Esquire, alleging numerous ethical violations relating to his representation of an heir-hunting firm and the estate heirs that the heir-hunting firm took on as one-third contingency fee clients.”
The article is published in the Forensic Genealogy News (newsletter of Council for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy). The newsletter is available at http://www.forensicgenealogists.org/Resources.html.
