The embedded practicum offers an actual forensic case study that will be covered from start to finish.  Those who satisfactorily complete the course will receive a Forensic Genealogy Institute Certificate of Completion.

With over fifty years of combined forensic genealogical experience, instructors for the Forensic Genealogy Institute are practicing professional genealogists with real life experience in the field:

Michael Ramage, J.D., Certified Genealogist (sm); Kelvin L. Meyers, Forensic Genealogist; Leslie Brinkley Lawson, Forensic Genealogist; Dee Dee King, Certified Genealogist  Forensic Genealogist; Catherine W. Desmarais, M.Ed., Certified Genealogist; and guest speaker Debbie Parker Wayne, Certified Genealogist, CGL.

Forensic Genealogy Institute I was held last October.  Demand was so high that more people were registered on the waiting list than registered for the event.  CAFG is offering Institute II in April in an effort to meet that demand. Institute II, with some improvements and three additional hours, will be a repeat of Institute I.
